The fishery is certified by the independent organization Friend of the Sea, which, with strict criteria, guarantees sustainable, environmentally friendly fishing. The oil comes from wild populations of free-ranging small fish in the South Atlantic
The TOTOX value (rancidity) is well below the upper TOTOX limit set by GOED (The Global Organisation for EPA and DHA Omega-3s). That is why it does not leave a bad aftertaste.
